Green Lake
The Green Lake neighborhood is a destination spot for all sorts of active-minded Seattle-ites. People come from all parts of the city to walk, bike, skate, or run around Green Lake. The park is also a great place for a picnic and lake is open to boating and fishing. The park is also a natural preserve for hundreds of species of trees and plants, as well as numerous birds and waterfowl.
The north Seattle neighborhood is bounded by Wallingford on the south, Greenwood/Phinney Ridge to the west, Maple Leaf to the north and Roosevelt to the east.
Like other north Seattle neighborhoods, Green Lake is mostly single family units with apartments and multi-family housing in the residential urban village area.
